If there is no Mexican consulate or embassy that can issue a visa in your country you will need to apply, in person, either at a consulate or embassy in a neighboring country or in another country on your way to Mexico.

You should expect to complete the visa process at a Mexican embassy or consulate in one day; depending on the size of the embassy or consulate and also depending on the number of applications they can process per day, your visa process may extend up to two days.
